The CIMBA Part-time MBA curriculum focuses on the practice of business management and includes a foundation of core courses in key functional areas of business. The MBA program not only prepares you with technical business skills but also with the ability to effective lead those around you through our leadership development seminars.
Classes are held on weekends and are also attended by the full-time MBA students. Most of the courses meet for four full days and require both pre- and post-work. While you will take one course at a time, courses will overlap in terms of required pre- and post- work.
The final course of the program is an integrative strategy course and is completed during a four week session at the University of Iowa. This course uses an online business simulation in which you will compete in teams to become the best performing company. In total, you will complete 18 required courses (52 credit hours).
The course work includes the following classes which are typically completed over two years. The first year courses are held from October to May, and the second year courses are from October to mid-July.
The course work includes the following classes and is part of the knowledge pillar of the educational philosophy.
